The multi-arts centre on Smithdown Road champions creativity in order to benefit the local and wider Merseyside communities through exhibitions, sales and curations. Creativity nourishes the soul and strengthens well-being. Here at THE GALLERY @The Hightown Inn, artists throughout Merseyside create, connect and thrive!

With four exhibitions yearly at The Hightown Inn, and a Studio Gallery at Sea Bees Hightown, many local artists from Merseyside are supported on their personal journey to their sale launch, one that showcases a multitude of talents and shares a binding love for creativity in a plethora of media.
Many of these original pieces are available too as cards and giclee prints (museum-quality reproductions). In total, there are four launches a year, driven by the curator (Brenda Monahan) and her team at Smithdown Arts Community.

The Potter's Gallery
Taster Classes and Courses range between 2-3 hours and over 1-8 days. At £30 an hour, they include all of the materials, expert tuition, biscuit,glazing and firing.
Most classes take place on a Saturday, but arrangements can be made for alternative times and dates. Sensible clothing must be worn as the clay may stain permanently your clothes! Remove jewellery please.
